Shipment dates
Work forward to an arrival date, backward to a departure date, or check the time between two dates.
Your schedule
Dates only; no time-of-day or timezone conversion. Public holidays are not excluded. Use the counting basis in your carrier’s schedule.
The counting rules, in plain sight.
Departure = arrival − transit days
Elapsed calendar days = arrival date − departure date
The reference date is day zero. Forward calculation counts from the following day; backward calculation counts from the preceding day. For working days, only days outside the selected weekend count. Public holidays still count unless they fall on an excluded weekend.
Between-dates mode excludes departure and includes arrival if it is a counted day. Identical dates return zero. A zero-day transit keeps the reference date unchanged, including a weekend date. Backward working-day calculation starts from the entered arrival date even when it falls on a weekend; verify operational dates with your carrier.
A quick example
Departing 24 October 2026 with 14 calendar days gives an estimated arrival of 7 November 2026. The departure date itself is not counted.
A planning date, not a live ETA
This tool does not track vessels, flights or trucks. Customs clearance, transshipment delays, cut-off times and delivery appointments are not automatically added. Enter the transit duration appropriate to the milestones you are comparing.
